well last sat i had the third sitting of my tattoo done. on the mon i got told that i’d be off to iraq for a week..winner 🙁
anyhow during my time there i got bitten by a mosquito on the newly done tattoo work. its gone done a lot since i got bitten (thank god for anti bite stuff), however is there anything else i could try on it on or shall i just let it works it course and heal itself up?
just concerned whether it will have an affect on my newly done tattoo work?

Main thing is maybe a couple of ani-inflammatories (ibruprofen) if the swelling doesnt go down.
Whatever you do – don’t squeeze the infected area – this could make it worse and create a cross infection.
Some bites can leave small dot scars but this is quite rare and usually only happens where you ahve a bad reaction to it. The skin swells and blisters when that happens.
Main thing is keep it clean and clear and should be fine.
