I recently got my tattoo on the 22nd of June and during the healing process some bumps formed around the edge, and this lump started forming. I read on another forum that it might be due to an allergic reaction to A&D ointment, biactrin, or the lubriderm lotion i was using. I’m really concerned about what this might be, so i would be very grateful if anyone could help..

That’s a harry potter tattoo right? 🙂

That doesn’t look particularly healthy, hard to get an idea of size though. Maybe ask your artist what it could be, or even check it out with your dr, just to be on the safe side?

I’d probably get that checked out by a doctor just to be on the safe side.

Hi

As mentioned you need to see a Dr asap on that as could be a cyst, boil, or hernia tear of the lower abdomen.

Allergic reaction is possible but they do not tend to react quite as bad as that and the pain would suggest that there is serious pressure behind the skin which is not a good thing.

Go to a specialist get a biopsy if necessary and remember your health is worth more than any ink you may have.

I say this as they may want to make a small incision into it.

Take Care
