Here’s a question for you: If you had an open wound, would you disregard the words on a moisturizer bottle that said, “Don’t put this on an open wound,”? A tattoo is an open wound for the first 2-3 weeks after it’s done. Don’t moisturize it. After healing, your body putting enough lymph and sebum in the area that it doesn’t need you putting stuff that can only possibly make it worse. Moisturizer is for dry, healed skin only.
