Hello,

I got a black ink tattoo a couple of years ago and it has remained pretty clear without any blow out or fading. I am now 4 months pregnant and just noticed it has started to fade on some lines and one line has fallen out completely. I have other tattoos that are older and newer which this isn’t happening to. It is on my leg not my stomach and isn’t stretched at all. It is slightly more raised than my other tattoos also.

Has anyone else had this experience? Is there any treatment I should do? Could it be the particular ink used? I can’t find any info about tattoos falling out during pregnancy.
