Hello, I have been tattooed before and am getting it added on and everyone we ask has no clue, I keep bleeding and swelling when before I haven’t and its just where that tattoo is, I got another on my other arm and it didn’t bleed. So please help, this is vexing to all I have asked as well as my tattoo artist.
all tattoos bleed,and some get swollen too,I just had my hand tattooed and it bled and swelled up,none of my other tattoos have swelled up,they all bleed though ! very normal IMO,tattoo bleeding and swelling will vary depending on the tattooer and place on body.
did you take a pain killer like aspirin or acetaminophen (blood thinners) before the tattoo ?
as long as it’s not infected,keep it clean,let it heal,and relax.
