Hi everyone. I wanted to know: is it possible to tattoo over a scar without the tattoo coming out terrible? I’ve read this question and answers about a million times on Yahoo! Answers, but everyone says it depends, so I’ll go into detail.

I have a small scar (about 1/2 inch long, 1/4 inch tall) on my back. It IS raised, but not too much (as you can see the dimensions; its very small). It’s flesh colored/pinkish. It has been there for over 10 years (so it’s fully healed). I realize that you cannot do too much detail over it, but if it was just a piece of a large tattoo (just a blotch of color) over it, is it possible to cover it?

Also, can you tattoo over stretch marks? I mean the raised, pink stretch marks. Again, I realize detail is very difficult, but same as above, if it was part of a tattoo w/o detail, will it cover the marks?
