    Hello!

I want to get a tattoo of a piece of art I like. It is fairly detailed and I was wondering what I need in order to get a tattoo artist to recreate it.
I just don’t want a generic tattoo from a book in the tattoo parlour or something, and I don’t know if it’s possible to get a truly custom tattoo design done.

    Thanks

Yes, go to the artists studio and give him the piece of art. He’ll tell you if you need to photo it from a different angle etc to beable to work it onto your skin. Obviously a good tattoo artist, many many many tattooists work from stencile only and will make a mess of it so check out the port folio first, look at portraits/shading etc.

like before check out the artists work, speak to the artist take in the design and let the artist have a play but to truly get custom job/ or a original piece of art you need to let the artist have a bit of input and hand draw stencil but be prepared to pay as pure artistic work doesnt come cheap
