    Hi guys,

Is it just me or do other people do the same?

I got my first tattoo about a year ago. It was 2 initials as an ambigram. 6 months later I had that tattoo adjusted so the ambigram formed the center of a cross. A week ago, I had some color added.

So, do other people continually adjust their tattoos or do they get them done then leave them alone?

FYI, when I got the first ink done, I had no plan to change it. This is also true after the 1st adjustment.

I think I am seeking perfection without knowing what perfection is.

No it’s not just you. Pretty much how everyone goes about extending their art. I’ve tried many times to plan months/years in advance, how I would continue to build my art. Never works out like that apart from my back where I got the entire outline done in a 15hour sitting. Most of the time I’m just linking new stuff up around my body and try to sit it in a merging background. It’s just progression and probably the best way to go, bit by bit. My armpits get coloured tomorrow which I originally planned a couple of years ago and never got around to it. If you can I’d consentrate on each piece one at a time, finish it before moving on (as you have) or you’ll end up with lots of outlines and half finished pieces that take forever to get around to doing.
