Well I’m 17 and I have some ideas for my first tattoo. That’s not what I’m worried about. I need to pick a place on my body that in the future, it will not stretch as much. I don’t want it on my arms right now because of growth, So i was maybe thinking my ribs? Anyone have any ideas?

i guess ill say it before someone else does…

please post an intro and make some attempt to be part of the community… rather than being the “what do you think about this…?” and then never heard from again…

with that bein said, ur ribs wont stretch and its a possible place for your first
it just depends on ur pain tolerance, my buddy got his first ever tatt on his ribs too
one artist told him he wouldnt tatt him bc he would end up quittin cuz it would hurt to bad, lol

but it would help us suggest locations if you tell us, or show us, what ur getting

Ya, sorry, I was going to post an intro but I was sorta in a rush, so I’ll get to that.
And uhm, for the idea. It’s going to be my last name, with some design around it. and my grandfather’s birth and death date under it. If it’s going on my ribs, I’m going to be spending a lot of money on it also get it done by the best artist i can. Pain doesn’t really bother me, especially if it’s for something I really want

are you bothered about it being seen ? because the lower inside of your arm is a real sweet place for name , front/script tattoos 😉

It’s not so much it being seen as it is i know i will grow more and fill out. so id rather get my tats there when i know that size i can have them. I’m not sure if them being seen will be a problem because right now im applying at some car dealerships.

    Hi

Unless you are doing pro body building or steroids the tattoo should be ok as long as don’t get it along joints of the body such as armpit or knees.

I would advise the chest or upper bicep/tricep as these can easily be covered and will not stretch so much unless you go crazy.

    Take Care
