The thing is everyone has different pain tresholds and – this may be a weird comparison – since not everyone is ticklish in the same areas I would imagine that people find different tattoo locations more or less painful.

I hesitated to relocate my tattoo from my upper arm to the back because I heard tattooing across the spine can be quite painful. That part of the tattoo bizarrely ended up being the least painful one!
