Hello people.
A close friend of mine decided to have a new tattoo and she found 2 pictures of the tattoo she wants, but we’re having difficulty finding the source. Thought you could help us.
Here are the pictures;
hi and welcome to the forums. my guess would be peko chan. a japanese cartoon character thats on food packages. just a guess. that chick in your reference photo is super hot by the way. good luck

Do you mean that she wants that exact same entire sleeve? It’s a well done Anime sleeve, but why would anyone want the exact same tattoo as someone else has? IMO, she should get her very own Anime sleeve, with Anime things that she cares about personally and will be a much better tattoo because of that. But she’ll need a hell of an Anime enthusiast tattooist to draw it up and do it justice.
“Anime enthusiast tattooist”- I hope this is a thing because it sounds ridiculously cool.
No, she does not want the exact same tattoo, she just liked the “type” of the tattoo, but we cannot name it. (As in tribal tattoo etc.) She doesn’t want a whole sleeve tattoo either, it’ll be much smaller in size.
I mean it’s obviously an anime-kind tattoo, but whenever we search for reference tattoos, we end up searching with stupid keywords like “Pink Bear” “Fluffy Clouds” or “Cute Bunny”.
It is definitely Japanese. A good key word would be “harajuku girl.” It’s sort of the style… Usually anime is a little more detailed than this. You could call this more manga artwork. Your artist won’t have to be an enthusiast to draw this style. It’s not very difficult, just very unique and stylized. Hope that helps.

Nice job fryc86. Very impressed with your research.
Just luck ๐ I happened to have that page saved among the many I have for future design ideas.
