I have a question about a design. I was considering getting a tattoo of one black angel wing on the right side of my back.
I was wondering about it’s symbolism?Is it a sign of good or evil as this will be my first ink ever.I just want to get it right the first time. And not make a mistake.

My question to this is why only one wing? It would make you look kinda off center and unfinished. Most people would view it as evil, because in a lot of minds white is good, black is evil. But in a magickal sense, black means protection. So it just really depends on your own personal views.

Because on the other side would be ink of the other one ripped off like a battle scar.Excuse me that would be looking like it was sliced off with a sword just above the place that it would grow out of my back.:o

Ok, that makes sense, but at least there’s something saying that there was once supposed to be a wing there and not just blank canvas.
