Without the words and its going to be done in gray-scale. Its going to be circular, about the size of a baseball, and on the left side of my chest. This is going to be my first tattoo so im wondering how long its going to take for the artist to do it. Also, ballpark question, what is generally the cost per session and how much would this one end up costing me?
I would think it depends on the artist. I usually planned my sessions as an all day thing. Just remember, the more detail a tattoo has, the longer it’ll be.
As far as price goes, again, it depends on the artist. Some charge by the hour, some charge by the piece. Tattoos are expensive, so plan on spending atleast a couple hundred dollars.
I agree this depends on the artist. If you have a tattoo artist in mind just take the picture to the shop and see what they say. It doesn’t hurt to ask them to sketch something up for you as well. I’m sure they can give you a price and let you know about how long it would take before you make your decision.
