currently i have the serenity prayer that looks somewhat like this,
http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2011/051/2/a/serenity_prayer_tattoo_by_godwin3265-d3a0rqb.jpg
it is on my right arm going from the top of my shoulder going down my tricep, down to about 2 inches above my elbow joint.
I’ve been interested in japanese sleeves for quite some time, but I’m not sure if it could be integrated with what I have already on my right arm. (left arm won’t work, it’s already covered in stuff)
I have big muscley(sp?) arms from working out for a long time, so there is plenty of space for the tattooist to be creative on the remaining back of arm, bicep area, etc.. anyways, i was wondering if I got a koi fish on the inner part of the bicep, would it look alright/ be acceptable if somehow the koi fish made a “splash” and the waves were integrated into the serenity prayer? Followed by the traditional japanese cherry blossoms, flowers, etc down to a 3/4 sleeve just past the elbow joint.
Any ideas or anything I could look into?
I’ll ask the obligatory question: where do you live? The right artist can surely make it all come together.
How about posting a picture of your arm?
Tampa, FL.
i’ll upload a pic in a few hours
Your tattoo already takes up all the good space. It’s not gonna work for a 3/4. If you want to go Japanese, I suggest sleeve it down to your wrist.
