I’ve been tattoo’d twice now and I’ve got to say there is a definite difference between those who believe that they need to press hard into the skin and those who understand the depth of the needle and using a lighter touch.

Thoughts, comments? which one are you and why?

Sarah of Vivid Body Art in Knoxville has a lovely, light touch – She’s also a very gifted artist and able to place and execute any idea very well.

My first tattoo, done by a man named Pierre in northern California, also had a nice, light touch, though it was a small piece. Fortunately, I’ve never had someone who didn’t have light hands and years of experience.

There is no need to go digging, completing a piece with the minimum amount of trauma should be the goal
