Hi Everyone,

I am looking to get a tattoo (my first). I was curious as to how complex the ink can be. I saw this picture and thought it would be an amazing tattoo with some modifications. I want it on my calf but I don’t know if this is even possible to recreate. I like that the red/ white aren’t straight and the colours are all faded into each other. I wouldn’t really want it squared up eitherm so I would need to think of a border of sorts. I don’t want to waste the artists time if this is something that has no chance of working.

It’s possible, but I don’t personally think it would translate well as a tattoo. Take it to a seasoned artist, tell them what you like about it, and ask them to design a tattoo for you.

I haven’t gone through these at length tbh, but I see some good work here.

I suck at geography but imo john Wayne is one of the best in Canada. And also check out Dave Cummings. If u like traditional work piew chioqutte (sp?) Is great too.
