    Hey guys.

    I’ve had my first tattoo two weeks ago. I’m a bit concerned about how it looks today. Is that normal?

    How are you treating it and did a professional do it?
    It’s normal, for a not-optimum aftercare. Doesn’t look infected, just a bit irritated and with some thick scabbing. If you’re using a thick lotion, you might have been putting on too much or not washing it well enough.

    It looks as if the tattooist really packed in the ink. Also you may just heal slow, Lay off the lotion it will be fine. That pic is a little close up do you have one from a bit further back.

    Thanks guys. Yeah,it’s healing pretty slow I guess.
    I’m putting a lotion with vitamin E on in at least 3 times a day now. Washing tattoo in the morning and before going to bed.

    Looks like it getting better. Just make sure if there is any scabs to let them come off on their own. Can we get another pic even further back 😉
