my tattoo is 6 weeks old but it’s wrinkled and shiny. If the room has no light the tattoo looks awesome but if i move my hand near light it shines and you can see the wrinkes at the outline. another strange thing is that if i see the tattoo vertically i can see the wrinkles but if i see it sideways its beautiful . it is also a little puffy but very little and only the outline. If i see it through the mirror it’s ok, it isnt shinny nor wrinkled. through posts i ve read i think i ve got some scar tissue , but the strange thing is that it is noticeable only through light and only vertically. i also had another tattoo on my back done 3-4 years ago and i had no problem.
sorry for my bad english and i cant post pictures right now cuz my phone and my webcam resolution sucks
what is it? and how can i treat it?also should i still add any type of cream?
thx in dvance
P.S. THE TATTOO IS RIGHT UNDER MY INNER ELBOW(DITCH) and it’s only black with black shadows
Give it time. Tattoos take several months to heal.
ty for ur replies
i m still not able to take a photo, do you want me to search and find a simmilar photo on the web?
and 1 more thing, what should i do from now on ? cuz everybody says a different thing, some say it needs to be dry while others to moisturize it .
i have a cream called easytattoo ( it says : Moisturising formula, protects the epidermis, encourages healing
– Rich in vitamins A, B, C and D
– No skin irritations
– Non-sticky texture
– Helps to preserve brighter colours
) should i continue using it? and if yes , how many times per day?
i heard some other things like hot water and massage the area.
thx in advance
Hard to tell without looking at your actual tattoo.

Im glad i wasnt drinking anything when i read this!
Did your tattoo eventually settle in to the skin? Mine is also 6 weeks old and looks similar to what you described – kind of wrinkled and glossy over the lines and slightly raised.
Hoping that it eventually heals. Maybe it’s just slower?
