    Hi

A bit of white highlighting will draw the eye automatically and will stand out against the black.

You may need to touch it up every 7 years or so on the white but it is a 15 min job and no hardship – white does tend to fade quicker than most pigments.

That said even a light blue edging would be a nice contrast with a little white as well. (Scottish colours! 😉 )

There is plenty of room for extra linework as well so yes it can really make the piece shine as long as done by a pro artist.

hey does any one think this could be successfully covered with a tribal shoulder tattoo?

    Hi

It can be covered with a tribal but you would have to go big and prob cover the whole upper arm and chest and/or back as section as well.

That will take some serious shading over but it is possible to do.
Unless you split up with her I would suggest working on some highlights.

It is cheaper and again it is not a bad tattoo at all.

Hi everybody how u all doing, back again with an update… Got it covered, the guy just freehanded a design over it and im pleased with the result, it’s alot better than I thought could be done, one place told me i’d have to have a massive colourful japanese styled picture over my arm/shoulder/chest. Tell me what you all think? I know it’s pretty generic but comparing it to my original post I think it’s a good cover up. Any feedback?

    Thanks.

    Hi

It is a nice job but clearer pics would be great. Have you considered extending the piece so it don’t look so lonely 😉

I like the fade out effect he has applied to it.
