Hi all
I’m and just wanted to intro myself.
I’m 51, ex couch potato and have recently had a little health scare.
For the last three months, i have started and continue to trasnsform my body.
I was a couch potato, 260 lb, whcih lead to more and more health problens.
Since then i have joined a gym, lost 30 lbs (more to go) gaining muscle and
have started bodybuilding with a well know lady champion bodybuilder who has
taken me under her wing.
I have reaslised more and more that the one thing
that money can’t buy you is health but you can do something about it to help the future
Unfortunately, my dad died in 1989 and the hurt still feels like yesterday.
So i want to get a tattoo of a pic of dad, showing pic of him and i when i was young
enjoying a saturday together to celebrate him and my change of lifestyle.
So, the point of this rambling is help please as to recommendations regarding
tattoo artists / parlours in the south-east (UK) for a persons first tattoo
Thanks
Andy

cool tattoo idea. There’s a tattoo parlour in Croydon I just heard about called never say die. It’s got like 9 tattooing rooms across 3 floors. It’s like a tattoo Westfield or some shit. But still there are 9 tattooists of good quality who you could check out under one roof. Different prices and styles to suit you. I’ve never been there but google them they look good.
I changed my life in 2012. I was near 300 lbs. and it scared the fuck out of me!
I’m down to 275 and I want to get down to at least 250. (I am 6’3 1/2″)
I feel better and I’m more motivated.
I don’t want to be a fat old fart (56 years) with tattoos!
If you are seeking a portrait and are dramatically changing your body type then i would suggest waiting. The drop in weight combined with the increase in musclemass is going to push and pull your skin. The last thing you want is a skewed portrait of your beloved father. Just my .02 cents.
Hey you may wanna consider losing more weight before getting the tattoo, cos extreme weight loss might change the tattoo.
Prizeman at Eternal Art is one I’d like to suggest, he’s in Chelmsford.
Edited because I didn’t see the post above mine! But I agree with it.
