    Welcome to the forum!

    I think his work looks okay. I’m not a fan of the “old school” style.

    I’m sure there will be a few opinions soon from people more in tune with this style.

    I would say the same, it’s not my thing but I think his work looks good if that’s what you like, go for it.

    Thanks everybody for your opinions, I will take your advice.

    I am down in the Scottish borders area and looking for some recoloring and touch up work on an old tattoo and adding to it to form a half sleeve (Japanese).

    Can you recommend a good artist around this area; I am looking at Glasgow or Newcastle both are about a two hour drive away.
