The guy did two tattoos on me and I need both of them touched up, are you saying go to another artist for that? Wouldn’t that be weird? I only just discovered this blowout thing today and both the tattoos he did on me have that “glowing” lines, obvious blowout. He’s supposed to be a decent artist but I guess not…
Could this be fixed with some white ink over it or something? Should I use the same artist again considering that there is quite a lot of blowout on the tattoos he has done on me?
I assumed it was excess ink on top of the skin.
Thanks, great response. I guess it’s pretty hilarious my arm looks fucking retarded. Ha ha ha.
I power lift. Got 435 up on the bench for the first time less than 24 hours after I got my steam pink cyber squid on my arm. It’s just a matter of pushing.
Love. Peace. Metallica.
Haven’t you had any problems with sweat messing with the scabs or anything?
You’re going to decide on a tattoo and then have it inked on Saturday? I usually find a design I like, then keep it for at least 6 months, if I still like it then I get it. It sounds like you will regret this because you’re rushing into it. Anyways it’s probably better getting your tattoo artist to make up the writing for you, he/she may suggest a way it can be improved (to flow with your body or have shading in some way). And make sure the tattoo has correct grammar (“This Looks Kinda Dumb With The Random Capitalization”).
I never thought of a half sleeve before. How do you gather the design for a sleeve? Or does the artist have to draw one up? I was just exploring the idea of adding tribal, might just get another tattoo above the armband (I do not really want to get rid of the armbands).
I don’t know what to think… you get barb wire tattoos, and a few months later decide you want tribal as a cover up? Honestly, if you’re gonna flip flop that quickly over the barb wire tattoos, what makes you think you won’t change your mind on the tribal?
I didn’t decide to cover them up, I thought it would be possible to work around them. I would only be covering up a couple tiny bits.
Maybe just go to him and tell him what you want, ask him if he can make it look good without covering the armband. If he says no then maybe you can think about covering it then.
Yeah I’ll see what he says. He did both my armbands freehand, is it common for tattoo artists to do tribal freehand? Or am I better off finding a design for him to work off? I should only be covering the armband a little bit.
Good point. I got the armbands a few month ago, will it be easy to cover? And won’t my tattoo artist be annoyed I’m covering some parts up so soon?
