I knew about what I wanted and the artist took my idea and drew something out right on my ankle/foot. I loved it so we went ahead with the tattoo. He told me that because I wanted something to go around my ankle and onto my foot it would be best.

What about getting something that incorporates their first initial? I have a vine with flowers and I have the first initials of both my boys. You could have the artist work it so that initials are so worked into the design they don’t just stand out like a sore thumb.

I had an idea of what I wanted when I went in to get my one and only tattoo. The artist drew his rendering right on my ankle/foot in marker. I fell in love with it instantly! He listened to what I wanted and gave me some suggestions about working it around my ankle bone.

When I got my tattoo I had good friends that came along to help distract me. They were also there to help make sure I got something that I really wanted as I didn’t have a pic but an idea of what I wanted. The artist drew freehand my design.

The artist that did my ankle/foot tattoo drew it on with 2 different color sharpie markers. He started with a green to get the basic design then followed with a magenta to define the design. When he was done with the whole tattoo he used a wash to clean the area and also remove any ink from the sharpie before applying TatuDerm. He said because of the location the only way to get something to fit the area was to hand draw it. I am so pleased with the outcome.
