Looks very good. Unless I missed it somewhere have you credited the artist?

I like old school with a twist and I think this is a pretty cool tattoo.

I disagree, I think it would be terribly morbid. To me who would want their family’s deaths memorialized on their body? Every time I looked at this tattoo it I’d be sad and who would want that? If I want to pay a sad tribute I’ll go to the cemetery and leave flowers. If I want to remember my deceased family members I want that to have fun,…[Read more]

That’s a very nicely done lady head which isn’t easy to do and still look pretty. Nice tattoo for sure.

I bought some direct from the company, but I found I can get it cheaper through the tattoo shop.
Do you know anything about the other “Afterlife” brand that’s offered and if it can be bought individually?

I use the “dry Wrap” method. Get your tattoo done with a non-petroleum based lubricant. I use redemption, but there are others. When the tattoo is finished it gets wrapped in plastic wrap. Then you remove the wrap every four hours or so, wash the tattoo with fragrance free soap. Dry and wrap with fresh plastic wrap. do this…

For example, here’s an example of a well-done pinup…not to brag but it’s on me. (one of these days I’ll get a good, healed pic)

I actually love the concept and the design, I think a pinup girl riding a bomb is cool as hell but maybe just because I want one some day. But that’s only if theyre done properly. First, I think you went way too big for what you have and obviously as you know it’s not well done at all. Yeah, let a new artist have a crack at it, you should post a…[Read more]

I’m from CT and I’m pretty familiar with tri-state artists and rates. Rich Cahill is known as a solid artist, he used to be at Electric which has great American traditional artists. If I can be of any help just ask. NY is obviously stacked with shops and artists with the normal going rate $200/hr and a few elite artists around the 400/hr rate.

I have this pic blown up as my background at work, and yes it certainly looks like the lady is sucking the life out of people in this photo haha. Unfortunately it’s really hard to catch those beaming smiles in action, and this is one of the better ones, unfortunately it’s a bit blurry. I’d definitely keep that in mind…

Or maybe do something out of the box with it and rather than stick with the realism turn it into a cartoony or new school type piece but still using your daughter’s likeness and the carousel.

It looks great. Is there some significance to the blue hand / fingers in the water?
No just an idea he had for literal “finger waves” and just having a pointing hand guiding the ship but blending with the waves. He said he had an idea and I said go for it so it has a unique spin on a classic design. My gf doesn’t like the…[Read more]
