The few good artists that I know of in Jersey specialize more in new school color and classic traditional. If I wanted a good black and grey tattoo I would get the hell out of Jersey and go to someone like Shane O’Neill or Steve Wimmer in PA or I also like Victor Modafferi in Staten Island, NY.

I had to open the gallery before I even fully realized it was advertising a tattoo shop. It says open for business but it doesn’t say it’s a tattoo shop. I like the fact that the gallery is easily accessible but quite honestly the tattoos suck so I closed the site pretty quickly.

I’m totally against long text tattoos. In my opinion text looks best as a few word compliment to an image and not as a stand alone tattoo. To me, long text tattoos are unimaginative and lack artistic creativity and have no aesthetic appearance, and typically the characters need to be small and cramped and will not stand up over time. Defrinitely Grillo. And I don’t think every tattoo needs to be a huge, elaborate tattoo either. There’s nothing wrong with a cool little unique tattoo, I’m thinking of a couple myself, but I just know this could have been done better.
