Not meaning to be a dick but, what did you expect with tribal? It’s black and boring.

To spruce it up a bit you could get some coloured tribal (wooo) surrounding it or whatever.

I’d reccommend getting it lazered for this reason.

The tattoo is black, thus you’re limited to the tattoo to cover it. You’ll have to get ANOTHER black or incredibly dark coloured tattoo to cover it which don’t look pleasing. The lazering will lift the blackness and give you more choices to cover it with.

They would go together because they’re both in the japanese theme, but really it’s all what you do with the design and such.

It’s normal for the first day or so. When I got my first one done this happened and it’s still bright as hell.

How old is she? Cause if she’s a toddler or something you could get her to draw a picture/write her name and get that tattooed?

It’ll be possible to cover it but why would you want to cover a band tattoo that you got bored of with ANOTHER band tattoo that you will probably get bored of within a few years, but yeah thats just my 2 cents.

yeah above basically said it but if you really want to add something you could add some shading which has stars in it … if that made sense :p
