my boss doesn’t care about my piercings or tattoos, he just cares that i’m a good worker. i work at a locally owned pet store so my boss makes the rules there, and he told me one of his big rules is not to judge a book by it’s cover and a qualified worker is a qualified worker no matter what he/she looks like. i love my boss, hahaha.
he loves my tattoos and piercings and asks me about them all the time because he finds them so interesting, it’s awesome. around here tattoos are pretty common among most minimum wage jobs. i find the more discrimination comes with piercings than tattoos. i’ve been turned down from 4 jobs because of my piercings, i haven’t had a comment made about my tattoos in an interview yet.
i don’t think anyone is going to be butt-hurt over someone using their image for a tattoo, especially from a company, game, team, etc. from my experience they love it! some companies pay people to get their logos tattooed on them.
my boyfriend has a Lion King sleeve, and i’m sure disney aren’t going to come after him because whoever asks, “hey what’s that of?”, “oh it’s the Lion King, one of my favourite movies.” and voila! free publicity.
yeah i’m jumping on the “it’s your body, do what you like with it” bandwagon.
i plan on being covered, head to toe. my boyfriend loves it because he plans to do the same, and like a lot of the guys in this forum, he thinks tattoos are sexy on girls.
i don’t get much discrimination because of me being a tattooed girl, i just get it because i’m tattooed. but i have had a good few people say things to me like, “oh why would a pretty girl like you do that to yourself for?” to which i reply, “well thank you for calling me ugly but i’m happy the way i am, thanks.” i have no time for rude people.
the only girls who look slutty and have tattoos are the girls who act slutty. whether she has tattoos or not, a slut is a slut, it just happens that sometimes she might have a tramp stamp or something, haha.
really, i just think she’s trying way too hard to be “edgy” so no one will call her Hannah Montana anymore. hahahaha
@Sherav: getting the part of my throat done actually wasn’t thaaat bad. i found when it got closer to my armpits it hurt a lot more than my throat. but yeah, the vibrations were kinda uncomfortable, haha. and it was pretty hard to breathe without moving the skin too much.
@Poesy: yes i can! i’ve started to stretch my tongue again so i can cut the skin in between it and my split so i can give my split some more length.
thanks everyone 🙂
it is what i wanted obviously.
i wanted a cartoony, happy looking ghost bat chest piece. purple and green are my two favourite colours so that’s why i chose them. the green is a little lighter in person and i’ve since gotten some more definition lines in it.
i don’t expect everyone to like it, obviously.
i agree with the posts above.
i know an artist who did one of my tattoos in 2.5 hours and if i had’ve gotten it done by another artist in the same shop it probably would’ve taken him 4-5 hours. all artists have different paces/methods.
