this is how we ended up today…she has a tree blowing in the wind and the flowers and petals falling off of it end up on my back

Flower/Flower Petals blowing in the wind is what we’re going with. We’re just waiting to hear back from the artist on what its going to look like

So far the flower petals blowing in the wind thing is a maybe. My friend likes it, but we are still open to more suggestions just in case my artist can’t make it work…

They’re not shitty ideas. If I was interested in getting a tattoo on a different part of my body it wouldn’t be so hard, but my ultimate career goal is to be an elementary teacher, so having all of my ink on my back is perfect considering that I can wear just a tank top and have it all covered. We’re definitely not into the whole half heart best friends thing though. Too tacky for sure. Thank you though.

I mean…I didn’t want to offend you lol. I was kind of thrown by it because I would expect that on a regular site, but not an actual tattoo forum. I was thinking another bird as well. I talked to my tattoo artist about our night and day thoughts and he said with where I want it he thinks it would be hard to come up with something that will flow with the rest.

There is a picture of my back in my photo albums. I’m not sure how to put it on here though…

Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m the kind of person that is an asshole and makes fun of people with cat tattoos…so that wouldn’t work out too well. I’m definitely not a cat person by any means.

Yea we were thinking we might each get a new bird but now we’re toying with the idea of night and day because my tattoo artist wants to fill in the background of my back with clouds and such eventually anyways. I have pictures posted of what my back is at right now. Its just hard to find something that’s we’ll both like. I’m a bid kid for sure but I like to keep it classy with the artwork that I’m gonna live with for the rest of my life.

I appreciate the suggestion, but that wouldn’t really go with the rest of my back. All of my friends tattoos are random, but all of mine (aside from my chinese symbol) go together and will eventually be on solid back piece.
