Let her get what she wants, but do try to persuade her to choose a great artist for whatever she chooses to get. I have talked my wife out of a couple appointments in the last couple years, but only because I don’t want to see her settle for a so-so artist.

Some of Half Pint’s stuff is good, some of it not (e.g. that Transformer piece). Aaron Ryan has some nice paintings, but his tattooing is weak.

Thanks, I like it. It is quite a bit off from my original thoughts on the design but she was really great talking through what would work and what wouldn’t and, in the end, she knows far more about this than I do and the tattoo came out great while holding onto the elements I had my heart set on.

I got the tattoo today. The middle of the flowers bled more than the rest so they aren’t showing their true color right now…they are more yellow than red 🙂

One of my fav artists. Can’t wait to see it finished and healed.

I do think you show real potential. You’re still new. But I also think a good artist has a good set of tattoing morals. You might want to rethink your willingness to do such heavy work on such a young client. Regardless of whether or not she sends in more business.
