It was rumored that there was a $2000 minimum to get inked on the show. While there are a couple talented people in that shop (Ami isn’t one them), none of them are good enough that I would get inked by them except Tim Hendricks and he said he was leaving last season.

Jason Lambert is the only name I know offhand in Pittsburgh. Aside from that, I can’t offer any names up unless you’re willing to drive a few hours. That’s not to say there aren’t any … I just don’t know them.

You make some good points, never thought about it like that.So there are no moisturisers on the market that penetrate the derma?
What foods are good for the skin paticulary?
Nope, none of the moisturizers will reach the dermis. Again though, it’s not a bad idea to moisturize as necessary (personally I have no need…[Read more]

We’ve all heard the “only bold will hold” shit a million times, but no one really knows that for certain at this point. I think that if you take care of yourself – eat right, avoid excessive sun, exercise – your tattoos will hold up well regardless of style. In contrast, I think if you eat shit, remain sedentary, and often go tanning, even that…[Read more]

replied to the topic What do you do, shave or get shaved before appointment. in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 12 years, 4 months ago
It doesn’t really matter tbh. I typically shave the area a few days before. Throw some aftershave on there to help prevent razor burn.

I don’t know where Quincy is, but in Illinois I can think of a couple other great artists besides Brogan. e.g. Tim Biedron and Hannah Aitchinson.

I think I’m just gonna let it do its fading which will take a while, especially where it is, and get it covered up later in lifeGet lots of sun and avoid vitamins that are good for your skin (e.g. Vitamins C, B, D). Of course, this will also cause the ink to disperse throughout your body, which isn’t a particularly good thing.

My uncle found a stray cock (seriously) outside the garage where he works and it was actually very docile and friendly. They kept him as the garage mascot.

Nope. If I frequented conventions regularly, I probably would, but I would never get a whim tat from any local shop. I really prefer to think things through. Heck I even turned down a tat from David Corden b/c I just didn’t have time to think about it.

Keep the damn tattoo out of the sun until it fully heals. Period.
I’m starting to wonder if you got this done in a shop because your artist should have pounded this information into your skull considering it was your first tattoo. If you got this in some guy’s basement, maybe the sun is the best thing for it.
