should i be paranoid about my tattoo buring like its on fire? i have this but no redness and i also have lots of itching and also feels like i have things walking on my back where the tat is. i just checked and where it burns i have skin flaking off. this is my first tattoo so i dont really know whats going on.

its not a big slap just a light tap on the area to take the itchy bit away, im putting bepanthen on 2 times a day now but at the start it was 3-4 times a day. But today it was itching as bad as it was last night. i put a thin layer on my tattoo today and its ok so far but still flaking off.

i broke my ankle a year ago and it hurt but was a dull pain and i only found out it was broken when it had healed and i re broke it and had it x-ray, that didnt hurt but this tattoo felt like an open wound and someone prodding inside it with a hot needle. ill admitt while i had it done i said to the tattooist PPL GET OFF ON THIS SHIT OMG. he just laughed and said diff parts of the body hurt more or less. but now ive had it i WILL get another, its just finding a way to take your mind from the pain for 30-45 mins each session and i will do it. I want ppl to see my art on my back and go WOW. thats my mission lol 😎

my tat was pure torchure but i have a low pain barrier obviously, but before i thought i could hack it. it felt like someone cutting me with a boiling hot razor blade then chucking salt in my wound. im strange coz i didnt mind the outline it was more the colouring in that hurt for me. as for the people who say it goes numb, never happened for me once. BUT i did for some strange reason start to laugh towards the end and i still dont kno why i done it. my tattoo artist told me he went 2mm into the skin and he wasnt very chatty which kinda made it worse. i think if he spoke it would of taken my mind off the tatt and the pain. next time im taking mates with me.

my tat on my back took 40-60 mins. To be honest which im not ashamed to say is it was pure torchure so 2 hrs would deff kill me. i thought i cud hack pain, i think my body is diff to other ppl because they say colouring in was less painfull than the outline where as i thought the outline was the best bit. the colouring in part i hated. i had my tat between my shoulder blades and going over the spine almost made me ill. BUT i still booked another tattoo which will take 2 hrs so i decided im going to split it into 4 sessions and pay 50 each session to make up the 200 quoted.

had mine done on thursday its now sunday and today its really itchy but i also was told to keep it wrapped in clingfilm for the whole day i had it done and for bed then when i woke up to lightly wash it by patting it not rubbing it and then apply bepanthen stuff 3-4 times a day and its looking great, no scabbing yet just a lil itchyness but thats from the tape they used coz im allergic to it so my skin is a bit itchy and puffy.

well so far so good, how do u lot manage to get ur cream on your back. im doing it 3 times a day 11am then 3 pm and then 6pm feels ok but ill admitt it is at this moment stinging when i stretch and move my arms about.
Now ive had a tattoo and felt the pain is it fair to get numbing cream with my next one, i dont think id hack the pain on my ribs, my spine was bad enuff.

well ive had it done today, mixed emotions towards it tho. it did and didnt hurt if tht makes sense. not to sure on the care sheet for my tattoo tho, when he finished he rubbed it over with sum alcohol and detox stuff then put cling film over it which he said to kep on for 3 hrs min which i kept on for 7 hrs and the care sheet said i had to put cold water on it gently dabbing not rubbing it and apply more clingfilm for bed then when i wake up put BEPANTHEN on 3 times a day with more clingy shi*. sumthin gs wrong here aint it, everyone else said forget the clingfilm. i hate the stuff coz they tape im using is making my skin itch and i thought it was the tat but wasnt. would you say its safe to not bother with cling film and let the air get to it so it can propperly scab over?

i rang my tattoo artist today and he said if it gets to bad i cant take it rather than me walk out with half the job done he will use something called super juice i think, what is it?:confused:

WELL the results are i went to a local tattooist and he showed me sum results for stuff saying hes clean and something bout a autoclave ?? BUT a mate told me he cant spell and hes been known to mess up a few tattoos now and then but from what i see, MY tattoo looks pretty basic to do. he quoted me 8 hrs to do it at 70 pounds a hr, is this good? and he said i can have a little bit done for a hr then go bk when i like and get a lil more which sounded nice. i might take him up on the offer as i dont wanna pay for 3 hrs and then get 30 mins into it and say stop and lose money, ill take the first hr without cream and then if it hurts ill stop and get cream and have it all done .:D

TAKES A REAL MAN TO ADMITT HE CANT TAKE PAIN lol

well ive always wanted wings on my back, the plan was to get the wings and then get my daughters name across the top between the wings. nah this will be my only tattoo i guarentee that, my backs the only place i think i cud just about hack the pain, i know it will sting a lot but if it gets to bad i wont be afraid to ask for numbing cream or something like that. at the end of the day im after some quality art that i will enjoy for the rest of my life so the pain crap ppl go on about wouldnt worry me. i think the tattooist would rather i sat still than bitched about it hurting lol.

Well i decided ill get the outline done first and see how i feel after that, im also not ashamed to say i might get sum dr numb put on the area as well if it starts to hurt, at the end of the day i didnt go there for pain i went there for some quality art work on my body. like saying going to the dentist is all bout pain but everyone has injections in there mouth. 😀

well after a few designs and measuring it i came up with this below, it measures 8 inches from top to bottom and 4 inches from side to side on each wing, let me kno what you think.

ok its ambitious then if its going to take 15+ hours. i wasnt out for a full back tattoo just shoulder blades to say half way. maybe if i go on sometthing basic looking and i could add to it as time goes on. price wise it was a shock and ill admitt that. i was seriously thinking it would be 200-500 quid lol
