the answer is obvious to trained fotogs.

composition is easy, exposure is best learnt by understanding zones as per ansell adams and black and white is the best teacher.

so thats the answer for you: black and white is the best teacher.

refer your last question about film quality vs digital that should also help you

is this for discusion or you seriously cant fiquire it out?

as for mixing chemicals it takes only reading the bottle and mixing with water – takes about 30 minutes to do it not an entire course

nikon missed the boat, wont be selling my 5d in a hurry.

im going to wait and see as far as the D3 goes,

as for stealing the spotlight, is that a jealous statement? when Nikon make a serious attempt at a DSLR that challenges the medium digitals MP range will Canon users call that Nikon trying to steal canons limelight?

they are both great systems, however the lack of full frame has until now kept me away form nikon.

so let hope they come out with a 21mp or so DSLR soon so non nikon users can say “oh they are just stealing canons spotlight”

D5, mark iii, are great cameras and having them and nikon not having them is just life its not spotlight stealing, one company was faster than the other to meet the needs of Professionals (particularly pros that want full frame or res similar to Medium digital).

Some people think its the brand that matters, its not they are tools, nothing more nothing less. At the moment Canon leads, thats just how it is a the moment.

those that know know film is where its at, but of course the ignorant think digital a and photoshop rule – for laziness and convenience yes, quality colour saturation etc yes its the film

so to answer you, use a dedicated film scanner if you can not a flabed (digital photoshopers will say use a flatbed – they will also say other stupid things)

so dedicated film scanner! nikon make great ones (also charge extra 50% cause nikon is on the frount!) there are a few no name brands that are reasonable – go fo one of those to start with
