Scrubmuncher hit it right on the head.My question is why bother numbing it away? The pain and blood are part of the experience. This ritualistic aspect of tattooing is part of what separates us from those who do not have ink. It doesn’t make us better, or worse, than anyone else, but it’s something that’s happened to us…[Read more]

i had my ears stretched to 00’s, and i had to get them sewn shut. after 3 months of waiting, the holes where still not any smaller, so i went and saw a plastic surgeon who closed them right up. you can hardly even tell i ever had gauges.
it took me about 6 months to get them up to 00. I did another step up every week to 2 weeks, with plenty of…[Read more]

kanji is lame and unoriginal. no way to make it “your own,” no way to make it unique… especially the symbol for love. really?
that being said, most tattoo enthusiasts dislike kanji for those reasons.
you get something that is overdone, be ready to take some nasty comments on it. plain and simple.

That said, i have a much more limited space, as i cant make it a full sleeve. im loving the storm theme idea, but needless to say i cant fit a ton of art in that space. im…[Read more]

The first is his level of artistic skills – have you seen his work on anybody else? Does he have a web site? Does he have a portfolio of work done?
Check out you can actually see his work before he does any – you simply might not like his style.
