It’s your body, but a design like that would only take up about half of your back at it’s largest. Better off saving your entire back for a back piece. I think that design would would look best as just a chest plate or somewhere else.

Perhaps you were just to psyched up. Relax next time, it will not feel like being tickled but you shouldn’t be pouring sweat from the start. Actually the more you can relax the easier it is IMO.

I have to agree with Sherav, that has the potential to make a stunning back piece. I think he covered most of the ideas but you might also go with a sunken ship graveyard below with most of the sunken ships and silluette and perhaps a ghost or two of lost sailors. Please keep us posted.

From what I understand the problem with vasaline is that while it does seal out the water it also seals out the air. Sealing out the air from a wound keeps it from healing.
