Sorry to hear that, hope something comes up to help get you through. And once you ship out fair winds and following seas.
I think as long as you find a talented artist and give them the picture and a little leeway they shoul be able to retranslate that into a tattoo just fine. Just go large enough to get some good details.
Actually I think a theme would be easy to get out of both of those. When I look at the first one I don’t see it on your chest or ribs though. Instead I see it on the back or front of your shoulder. Think something like biomech but instead of the mech it would be more of a polished crystaline bone structure. Then take the second fabric one in specific places over that to represent ligiments and muscle tissue.
Nice, I always enjoy seeing the old school look.
That is a tattoo that I can’t wait to see. Good luck and keep us posted.
Did your artist specify to use a non-scented lotion? Because scented lotions will sting when you put them on a tattoo. Get something nonscented that is not petrolium based like lubriderm’s nonscented lotion and that should get rid of the sting. I would guess the continued redness might just be from the irritation caused by a scented lotion.
Congrats, that is one nice looking cat you got there.
So were you thinking of having the samuri on your arm, perhaps poised with his sword drawn above his head and angling across your shoulder? Then you could have the giesha with the small village below and the city above placed on your ribs and chest. Sounds like you have everything else besides how to situate the art figured out. Why not find an artsist who’s work you love and talk with them about what you have in mind. They will be able to help you iron out the kinks. And I would imagine that there are a lot of excellent artists to choose from in London.
Well you should find a better artist to clean up the lines and balance out the proportions of the wings a bit better. That alone will improve it quite a bit. As far as adding more to it that depends on what you like. Since it’s a swallow you could stick with the nautical theme, things like anchors and roses, or do something as simple as placing a ribon below it with a small bit of script. Or if you wanted something bigger you could cover it with a larger colorful swallow. Just pick your next artist a bit more carefully. There are a lot of talented artists out there who can do beautiful tattoos that you wouldn’t believe. Find one of them and you’ll be much happier with the work you have done in the future.
very nice, and I love the way the colors are shaded.
Definately different and well done. It’s nice to see something that takes you by surprise.
It’s a beautiful flower and definately unique. You will not have to worry about running into someone else with that same type flower. Hope your artist can find a way to make it work.
Looks good, are you looking to expand it?
