you can get clear retainers to put in the piercing when not wearing the more obvious jewelry
alright ill try to draw up a couple of different things
ive got a couple of questions for you. first I was playing around with the layout and I think that it would flow well if the guns were flipped to face up and were used as the base /shoulder of the wing. what do you think about that idea? second, do you just want the .45 ACP that the gun uses? because instead of stretching the bullet for the section of wing with longer feathers, you could use a longer rifle bullet
Im going to agree with them about using a larger space. the size that I’m drawing it at to get it detailed at all is too big to make it wrap around my arm and I’m a pretty big guy. Even if it could fit on your arm with any detail, my opinion is that its a tattoo that wouldn’t look great if you couldn’t see the whole piece at once.
ill try to draw it up for you, its not the type of thing that I usually draw so I cant make any promises but Ill give it a shot
I agree you should go to a doctor to get it checked out. I’ve had a staph infection before, it’s no problem if you get it taken care of early but it really sucks if you let it wait.
I think adding a lot of color would look really cool, but adding a little bit of color would make it look unfinished
In florida (especially in the places where tourists spend a lot of time such as I-drive in orlando) there are many shops that I would not trust based on lack of cleanliness so make sure you check out the shop before you get the tattoo
the difference between the two bottom pictures is amazing, thanks for posting them
I would suggest switching to a non allergenic, unscented skin lotion (the last time I got a tattoo my artist suggested equate advanced recovery skin care lotion)
1) 3 tattoos
2) first is script on my foot that says “make decisions and never look back” second is an anchor on my bicep (the bottom is just above my inner elbow) and the third is a very simple cross on the palm side of one of my fingers
3) the script on my foot is to remind me not to dwell on past decisions and to learn from my mistakes and move on, the cross I got on my hand to look at when life gets difficult, the anchor I got because I spent alot of time on my grandfathers boat fishing when I was growing up and I have always loved the ocean and water.
4) I was a high school senior when I got the writing on my foot and the cross, and I got the anchor a few months ago and I am in college
5) student/ part time boat driver when I got all 3
6) middle class
7) Male
for large pieces most charge by the hour and the amount of time it takes depends on detail, color, shading, etc… I’ve been researching prices recently for a half sleeve that I’m planning and the artists I have talked to have been quoting an average of between $500 and $1000 sometimes going up to $2000, before seeing ideas for the design. so its going to be difficult for you to get a good estimate without going in with your ideas or artwork and talking to an artist.

5.How many tattoos do you have? 2, will get more as soon as I can afford them

7.What are your reasons for getting tattoos? personal meaning/memorial/I like the art
8.What are your restrictions on tattoos? I don’t really want a tattoo on my face, might get my hands tattooed if I run out of other space
there was a thread a couple of months ago about this

I like the idea of the phoenix on the ribcage instead of on the back. Since the quotes are so personal, I would suggest making the decision on your own instead of asking people you don’t know. just my opinion
