Im feeling the same way as you do , i wanted so much a tattoo that i almost didnt look at the design and now its on my bicep and i see it everyday . i really regret to have it ..
id hard to admit i agree … but i wish i could come back and think before doing it .
i didnt started form a selected model , i had only a bit cut on a paper of what i wante dans the artist drew the rest in 30 second and IMO it doesnt match with the sketches i had . i end up with a weird messy tribal armband .
i think its easy to see if your tattoo is great or not after its been done . if people go like : hey you got a tattoo , show me , you can tell right in their face if its beautiful or not . mine isnt , nobody ever told me he was nice .
it was perfect i said to the tattoo artist when i got out , i was happy i had my first tattoo done , but it took me less than a month to realize it was not great at all and ITS ON MY BICEP … i see it everyday . im barely wearing t shirt anymore cause i dont wanna show it .
a nice tattoo can make you confident , but a bad tattoo can make you shame .
i know my tribal isnt a full back tattoo . but its in a visible place . 🙁
were probably not the only one who regret , some people jsut dont wanna admit it . we all think it will be nice and 90 % of the unsatisfied probably get out of the tattoo shop very happy , it take sometimes to realized that mistake .
i wish i could come back . well in fact , with removal and cover up …. i could probably come back .
but thanks for sharing at least im not alone .
and i will have other tattoo in my life for sure , but this time ill take my time .

im not advertising
but a montreal tatoo artist , SAFWAN ( one of the best in montreal ) is building tatoo machine , and everyone who used them in montreal think theyre awesome . hes doing convention around the world so theyre probably a bunch of other great artist who use his machines .
http://www.tattoodles.com/magazine/culture/125/ you can see an interview and some of his work s , hes a great tattoo artist .
theyre whole website is in reconstruction unfortunatly but hes a well known tattoo artist and he use the machine he build and so does other known tattoo artist .
i would trust his machine 100 % … if theyre good enough for him … theyre probably good enough for any artist . :):) .
just check it out … and probably everyone who knows Safwan would tell you the same .
he could probably help you better in choosing the right machine for you . specially if your starting .
i dont have that part tatooed , but i have a full armband , the underarm pit the skin is thin and it hurt more .
Sorry but tattoo isnt PAIN , its very tolerable and its mostly annoying .IMO you can compare it to a injury or in example Appendicitis or KIdney stone for example . its not the same pain .
i had surgery for hernia , appendicitis ( i made a perotonis ) and this is real pain . getting tattooed isnt that bad .
so dont compare it brekaing a leg or cutter a finger or a the pain you suffer from cancer .
its very tolerable pain . you probably wont faint . it hurt a bit .. but youll know youll have something you like at the end so your body tolerate more . :):)
breath slowly and follow the needle and it would be ok . dont let the pain stop you . it will be fine … the needle barely enter in the skin so itsmore annoying .
you cant compare it to real pain like appendicitis or cancer or kidney stone :):) its different .
i thought it would be horrible but it aint . but every perosn is different . everyone has tattoo and everyone want another one when their first one is done so it must not be that bad .
