some others may wanna jump in here but…. I would avoid cleansing wipes incase they contain chemicals that may react with your new ink and it’s healing.
I’m a musician and was on the road three days after my session. I was concerned about sweating a lot and also travelling during the day and using service station wash basins.
I got round this…[Read more]

replied to the topic Please suggest a good portrait artist in London? in the forum General Tattoo Discussion 14 years, 8 months ago
Hi,
I highly recommend Jason Butcher of Immortal Ink in Chelmsford Essex for your portrait. About half hour on the train from London. Jason is known worldwide for his realism.
Check my profile for two photos of my Jimi Hendrix portrait that Jason did.
First sitting was six hours and I just had a second pass and a couple of additions on the…[Read more]

I’ve been a few times to Vegas… A few years ago there was an artist just off the strip called Creeper (Stratosphere end). I only saw two pieces of his work, one being John Lennon and it was seriously good. I haven’t seen his work recently and don’t know if he is still around.
I would take the advice though from what others have said on this…[Read more]

Hi,
I put a new “almost healed” pic in my album. I took the pic today on my mobile phone, but photography is not my strong point.

The hair is looking better as it is healing. I had it done nearly two weeks ago and just getting the last of the dry skin.
Anyone know ho long it takes to fully heal or am I nearly done?
I still moisturise it daily.

Thanks… Obviously everyone is different but I think everyone should be aware of how they feel. Before I went in I was kind of nervous… no so much about pain, but if I could physically sit that long. As I mentioned before I had two small 5 minute breaks. After about 3 hours I started to get tired but I did what I read about on this forum……[Read more]

replied to the topic Is tattoo suppost to start to flake 4th day in? in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 15 years, 1 month ago
I just had my first piece done last week and that started flaking very mildly on day three. On day four it was really flakey…. soft white flakes and loads of them. Even after moisturising the tattoo still has a dry feel but it is healing well. I’m using the orange water based tattoo goo four times a day which soaks right in. Joker1 is right in…[Read more]

Matthew…
sorry to hear that… you gonna be ok I hope?.
Butterfly_Kisses
I haven’t been able to post a pic as I havent been able to get the option to “add an attachment”. Not sure why. At the moment the tattoo is flaking and so I will give it a few more days of “shedding” before I take a pic. I got another hour or so work left on it. Been…[Read more]

Tanx Matthew,
I tried to put a pic up on here but I don’t get the option to add an attachment… I am using a mac… could that be the reason?.
Anyhow…. The whole tattoo is flaking soft white skin and tightening up so I will probably try again to post a pic when it is healed as it will look more attractive.
Have you got any new work planned?
