both my sons have just decided they want their ears pierced, they have requested some stretches or ones like daddies lol i am curoius as to whether that is too young and as one of the previous posters mentioned what gauge would you put in a childs ears?
just curious talking about segment rings i have i 4gauge bcr in my PA but i really wanna get a segment ring is the segment really secure cause the pics i seen they look pretty easy to come apart
just curious, with stretching, i hae only stretched the cartilidge part of my ear about ten years ago, it is at 10mm with the lobes why does it take so long? surely it should stretch easy as i got my ear pierced and stretched in one sitting, would it not be possible to do this with a lobe? cause as carmael has mentioned i also have been thinking about stretching my ears i only wanna go to about 15mm though i think the huge stretches dont look as good. would someone who is a piercer by profession answer this question as i am curious

i have had 3 independant artists look at it and all agreed that its way too deep, because a) still weeping etc, b) none of the lines are nice the ink has gone in and gone funny i cant remember the term they used but it has “cracked)” or blotched or something,c) it had a blue line around it or something too and also becasue my usual artist knows my pain tolerance he was super surprised i could not sit through it. so anyways i went back in today to cancel my appointment to get it finished and they asked why so i told them my opinion, and they told me it was all my fault that i hadnt looked after it, and that i could not handle getting a tattoo and that it was of no fault of theirs, i got none of my money back even though i had paid for the full tattoo before it was started, I am left very sour about this some people sould never be given the opportunity to touch people with a tattoo machine if they cannot accept responsibility should they not do things correctly.so now i have joined the make sure you research your artist carefully club.
🙂
yeah well he is one of my better friends, so he dont mind, i should just stuck with him but i wanted to see what other artists were like too. but gisborne the city i live in is a small place i dont think the kind of work done on me if that is her usual will allow her to be in business for long as it is only a small city and word travels pretty quick about stuff like this.
i really agree with you izarrasink i may have come accross a bit strange asking about what i did but its the first time i have been carved up by a artist that could maybe do with a few pointers, dont get me wrong her portfolio showed some good work and the part she has done even though simple was done well just far far too deep and now my back where it was tattooed is a big scab only 2 days after and still leaking ink. I will just stick to my usual artist he said he will fix it up for nothing. Just thought i would share as a warning to others to do some research on an artist before they tuch you with a needle, as once its started its in your skin, a good portfolio is not a sign that the artist is competent in all areas of tattooing, i thought people were being a bit over the toop when they say research your artist but they are not it is important as this has left me very sour about the experience and if it was my first would have put me off a lot. and yes i will be returning to show her what she did and to inform her she will not be finishing it and try to explain that with respect i think she needs to adjust her needles 🙂
without sounding rude if you check my pics i am not exactly a virgin to getting tattooed, have had wrists, by the armpits and ribs done and had no problems, have been to see my usual artist and also a couple of other ones as i went out of town for a couple of days and they have confrimed that this girl cocked it up the ink is way too deep, and the bg scabs on my back already, not just a nicely healing tattoo, also the ink is not sitting in the skin like it should, and yeah i know tattoos hurt thats part of the fun but no wonder i struggled she has chopped me up quite a lot, and that has been confirmed by my usual artist an 2 others that have never met this girl before, i will stick to my usual artist and only those i KNOW are of a good reputation, i certainly wont look through a portfoilio of work and decide.
