I think it all depends on the artist, everyone seems to do it somewhat different. My artist told my to leave it wrapped over night, then clean it with anti-bacterial soap twice a day. I use a aquaphor for the first two days, then switch to curel frangrance free lotion.
The only thing that seems to be the same for everyone is the fact that you…[Read more]

Awesome stuff. Are you going to color the left arm?No, the left arm is staying pretty much with the colors that already exist in the tattoo

Heres my other arm, work in progress. I posted pics before with the inner arm when it was fresh. Its all healed up now! The black area on my upper arm has a cover up, which will be gone over again during the final touch up session.
thanks everyone!

I agree with above statements. I think alot of artist won’t copy exactly the same thing in respect of the other person who has the tattoo and the artist. Atleast I know my artist would NOT do it. Thats just wrong, sounds like a wanna-be. Hey I wanna be like Mike! 😮

the other thing that nobody has mentioned is that during the healing process the area will become verry itchy, at this point it is easy to scratch it and pick off the scabs, unfortunately this can also pull out some ink with it, this can also cause the light patchy areas, if its caused by the artist not working enough ink…[Read more] -

This reminds me about 5-8 years ago when I wanted a tattoo on my forearm. My wife said “NO, everyone will see it, and what about if you switch jobs?”. Well the point is I want everyone to see it!
My bother has two full sleeves and my other brother has a 3/4 sleeve. I would point out to her that its no big deal. Who cares what others think.…[Read more]

Hmmm.. i wonder if it would turn out better wrapped like thay. I may try it.I figure my artist will fix anything if need be, as I’m following his instructions. So far I’ve been pleased with my ink. Not sure if he tells everyone to do that or if its just for bigger tattoos?

I’ve never heard of leaving the wrap on for more than an hour. I just think it was what wasn’t completely washed off because my tattoo…[Read more] -

It must be your skin, I know plenty of people that use it with zero problems. My arm barely scabs at all, if any there is very small spots.

I personally don’t think hes using to much lotion, unless it was an ointment. Lotion isnt bad for the tattoo. The air is really dry where I live so my skin dries out really easy. After my tattoo is healed I’ll keep putting lotion on it. My artist said loltion is just fine after the tattoo is healed as well.
I know you can put to much lotion…[Read more]
