I don’t like alot of the popular rap-crap out there either.

There are a handfull of rappers though that I do like from the old school days & some current.

There’s no written “rule” however on how to make music. Some people use conventional instruments, others use drum machines & take a more electronic approach.

Music as a whole is constantly evolving, it would suck if music had to be THIS or had to be THAT & case closed.

I take it your not a rap fan, so you probably haven’t heard much more than what you’ve encountered on TV & commercial radio. In that case, I’d agree with you – that stuff is garbage. It’s all meant to sound the same & the people are more “actors” than musicians – all playing a role to sell records.

There’s a host of other R&B groups/artists that do have live bands and actually have a love for music (not just clicks & whistles put to a loop).

People like Van Hunt & Bilal work with actual live musicians & make some pretty good stuff.

Also – I’d be careful with the NEGRO comments. There’s alot of report-happy people on here that just love to play the victim role & cry “racism”. Boo-Hoo…poor them. LOL
