replied to the topic First tattoo, is this healing correctly? in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 9 years, 7 months ago
Drying is a part of the game. Only add ointment one time a day, more than this will make the tattoo too moist, and it will hurt, itch and heal slower.

For this you want someone with solid linework.
Spokane:
Undead Ink – No.
Bird’s Eye Tattoo | Gallery – God no.
Tattoo Portfolios – Maybe Shayne. But can’t see much celtic stuff really.
Feel Good Tattoo | Gallery – EJs work is poor. Holly is a bit too feminime. (You’re a dude, right?)

You don’t have to be inventive to get a great tattoo. Snake tattoos can be insane!
Anywho, here’s one I really like. If you add extra stuff like shedding skin in the back there, it could be cool – but also, this could also make the tattoo messy, hard to define / hard for people to see what’s what. Less is more, less is clean, clean is good.Made…[Read more]

Looks good. The tattoo isn’t that packed with ink, so oozing would be minimal.
You might have oozed a bit at night without noticing. -

To me it looks like something a kid have drawn. There are some techincal use of shading,
but the coloring and linework looks really weird. For comparison, here’s one he did a few weeks before.
That one is ok, but the crisp coloring and strong lines he have done before is missing. It’s like he is starting to give more shit about his work, and…[Read more]

Just ask him about what he thinks about what the progress will be. What will be done that session, if he have a clear idea etc.
Don’t just sit there and take shit.Example;
Last tattoo I took, me and my artist were talking about the tattoo BEFORE doing it.
He wanted to use brown colors, I did not, so we agreed on blue / purple.
Size was a bit…[Read more] -

The main problem here (if we go back to page one) is that he have no clue of what he is doing, and / or is going to do. I can’t see anything that is similar to biomech on his instagram – because he’s an old school / traditional tattooer. He know what biomech is, and sure it’s good for coverups – but still, you should fucking know what you are…[Read more]

This guy is a real old school tramp. Can’t believe he have done much biomech.
I’m not saying he is bad, just that this is way, WAY out of his comfortzone. How did you manage to find this guy for your bio-cover-sleeve?
