Sounds quite normal although Id be careful using Bepanthan. I used it on my eighth tattoo (should have known better!) and it made it go white and sore and cracked the skin open! I had to have it re outlined by another artist. Id stick to tattoo goo or intensive care moisturiser.

I would try not to let it scab. Its likely to happen though as its the skins natural defence to an ‘open wound’, cut or scratch. Keep it clean and let it do its thing. 🙂

I wash mine with Dove or Nivea from day one. 2 hours after its done, remove the cling or dressing, gently wash in warm water with soap and pat dry. Hi there,

Pain is down to the individual. Ive found certain areas more painful than others and some not painful at all. I find nice calm deep breaths and chatting to the artist a little helps. I would never have a numbing cream or jab. Relax, keep cool and have some water near by 🙂

Im new to the forum but not to tattoos. The skin can itch when its healing, I wouldnt worry too much unless it cracks or weeps but keep an eye on it. 🙂
