Yep, but you will be limited with some of the colouring. The best option maybe to get it hit with a LASER to make it bit lighter. As it’s black one of the cheaper LASER systems and hence cheaper for you will be able to deal with it.

You have a really interesting idea, that I think would work really well. Time to visit a good tattooist and book in, then show us some photos. They will be able to work with you to make it fit, work as a tattoo and give you something to show off.

I’m no tattooist and no tattooist will respond to you, but I know I don’t want some hack ruining my skin and I can only assume your victims expect the same as me. I have seen a couple of apprentices trained and they are closely supervised with a skilled person on hand to catch a problem and fix it before it turns into a tattoo like one of yours.…[Read more]

Welcome. Look forward to seeing your sleeve. Smart move going for a full sleeve. I guess it’s to late to warn you that tattoos are addictive.

I agree with the above. It’s unusual for anyone here not to recommend a tattoo, with a number suggesting very strongly don’t do it, there maybe a good reason or in this case many good reasons. I’m not against neck tattoos, however you must be very certain of your career path, then you are putting yourself in the middle of the drug scene, even if…[Read more]

You could always follow the policy I employ at work, “It’s always easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission” Not quite a tattoo, but… unless it’s the responsible thing and don’t waste money, a completed sleeve looks much better than bits – especially if you are already on the lower part of the arm, so if she is concerned of…[Read more]

It’s still healing. Just leave it alone and don’t scratch it. The worst part is the itch, you are in the middle of the healing process.

I’m getting ready for lower arms to be tattooed. I don’t wear PJ’s but I got some cotton tops that aren’t fluffy as I don’t want to get ink all over my sheets, nor stick to my tattoo..

Try and avoid wearing anything to tight around it that can rub and catch. What you are going through is quite normal. If there is a little bit that gets damaged it can be touched up. It will be more difficult to touch up a large area, so take it easy and you will be fine. Try and keep it dry (shower) and absolutely no baths.

As the post above said talk now. There are no legal problems going and as long as you make it clear you are 17 at the moment and you won’t be getting the tattoo until you are 18 there is NO problem. Explain your situation about moving away and although I don’t know the shop you are going to go to, the ones near me would be very pleased and…[Read more]

Once you make that leap and step inside you will be pleasantly surprised, not all tattooists are serial killers… You will find most are just like you, only with a bit more ink on them than you have at the moment, but that will change.

It’s a matter of selecting a place on your body, shape and a style you like and going for it. I got my first one a number of years ago when I was 18, flash from the wall (now buried under a ever growing sleeve). The only real advice I can give you is don’t be afraid of BIG. I think your question is a little incorrect as in then I went to a…[Read more]

I think the best way of getting ideas is form other tattoos, by that I’m not suggesting copying. I’m about to go back for my second consultation. The first consultation I went with a number of examples of what I didn’t like and why. I have worked with the tattooist many times so I expect he will have something I really like. It’s a great way…[Read more]
