Maybe try one of those designs where it looks like 2 different pics at alternate glances? Sorry wouldnt have a clue what they’re called lol
…pet camel who used to sleep next to his beloved, bald-shaven….
I’m sure tattoo vendors would take the necessary precautions to ensure your safety and clients after you, but agree with Sharav, it would be considerate to let them know of your situation.
Definately some shades of red would suit skin colour. Possibly gradient shades in general, like lighter or darker shades of your own skin colour.
I’ve read similar posts throughout this forum and others too. Personally I think a tattoo is pleasing to one, and rejected by another (most tattoos are).
Some, such as myself would prefer a tattoo thats personally to them or representative of an important aspect of their life; others prefer a tattoo as simply a piece of body art.
It is each and every one of our choices that determine what we consider a good tattoo, whether it be fonts, symbols, or cultural tattoos, and what we consider is a tattoo that’s NOT for us.
This would definately look awesome with a few touch-ups, maybe some shading or highlighting. Planning on getting some color? Personally I like no color but thats me being kiwi lol! Couldn’t tell you the cost sorry, I’m rather new to the tattoo world myself, I’m planning on getting my first tat in a few months.
Hope things work out for you

Happy Holidays! ๐
Have a safe and happy holidays everybody ๐
Pretty nice abstract looking piece of art, look very interesting once its applied on the skin! ๐
A fair point you have about constant public scrutiny when dealing with facial tattoos, it may depend on the reasons you want to get one in the first place. I’m from New Zealand and from a native maori P.O.V I’m finding them quite popular here, but it is heritage and acceptable, but I agree too, prepare to be stared at for the rest of your life.

Wow, very cool tattoo! Looks like a polynesian design, possibly one of the islands.

I haven’t experienced this myself but a friend of mine has before. He has a NZ Ta Moko tattoo along his forearm. He was working prior to getting the tattoo, his job didn’t like it and they eventually fired him. His Ta Moko was of his family crest (something to wear with honor and pride). Mind you he wasn’t terribly hurt by the situation lol, but it’s a shame that such discrimination still overshadows the display of tattoos. In a sense, I kinda hope this happens to me so I can throw it in the bosses face harder hehe! ๐
Cheers

I try not to stare at the tattoos that are in more provocative areas of the body lol ๐ but in most cases, if I notice a cool
tattoo on somebody, I usually just ask if I can have a quick look – I find alot of people who are quite willing to show off their tattoo, they’re usually very proud of their own tattoos! ๐
