I wouldn’t be thinking about even re-inking that piece…I can see holes showing through, so you should be able to go get it covered….but be ready with a good chunk of tax money! P.S., If you see the original artist, you may consider kicking them in the face.

Just a thought….was this done at a shop or out if a house? The reason I ask…I have seen a lot of “self trained” tattooists, or “scratchers” lose the line work, because the machine wasn’t tuned like it should be. just curious…that is a good amount of loss.

I see it like this, especially on big pieces…the scab thats forming has no flex. As it starts to seperate from the healing underskin, it cracks from the movement of the body underneath.
