Paul Booth, body suit, pure disgusting evil!
I like your idea about a small one to get your fix. Its also a great way to feel out the artist, get a look at his personality, and then decide if you are going to be comfortable having him do a big piece on you. Well…let us know how it works out!
Great work. I’m a skull fan, so great choice!
We use it a lot, and it kind of goes on what effect you want, i.e., it looks classy. you wouldn’t want an old english or grafitti script, or it would look too thuggish. I would highly recommend the edwardian font for bible verses and poetry, or any of the fancy miami style fonts look great too. Also, i have done verses in a font called Billy Argile, and it is really nice too. You can get a download free on your pc and add it to your fonts in word…also bleeding cowboy is a cool font. Good luck!
Looks like an edwardian font that we use at the shop all of the time.
Sounds like this guy is a complete douch. I would catch him at the point of saying something and retaliate in front of other customers though. If you feed him some of his own medicine by letting everyone know that he is singleing youout, I’m willing to bet he apologizes and stops with the bullshit in a hurry. I would also let him know you are paying for a service, and not just showing up to give money for insults. As far as tattooed females, they are being more and more accepted in the world, and the general concensus from every guy I know…is that tattoo’s on women are hot. You can probably thank Kat VonD for that, lol.
Depending on habits/vices/recreation….I usually tell people that on average, people spend between $20 and $40 a week on themselves…if you curb self spending, and put it out of sight/out of mind, and in addition save the extras you run across (change, dollars)…then within a couple of months, you will be on your way to haveing enough money for an addition to your arm! Keep in mind at all times wiether you want what you see, or the tattoo more. Its all mind over wants, and if you smoke or drink, it is also a good way to quit a habit and get a new one, lol! Good luck!
Out of personal preferance, and for astetic reasons, big tattoos are perfect for doing sleeve work. If you have a bunch of small designs bunched up, it makes it harder to tie it to tie together into a nice flowing piece. Great start, looks good!
OH MY GOD IT LOOKS LIKE A FIGHTING CHICKEN, LOL!!! What qualifies a good artist from a bad one, is experiance, training, word of mouth, and an extensive portfolio…..you should always see the artists work first…and the design being put on. The best bet you have is to go to a shop (after healing) and have the wings enlarged, and a second wing in the background. If you stick with the basics to help the design, you wont do bad. Good luck.
I wouldn’t be thinking about even re-inking that piece…I can see holes showing through, so you should be able to go get it covered….but be ready with a good chunk of tax money! P.S., If you see the original artist, you may consider kicking them in the face.
Keep posting the progress
Just a thought….was this done at a shop or out if a house? The reason I ask…I have seen a lot of “self trained” tattooists, or “scratchers” lose the line work, because the machine wasn’t tuned like it should be. just curious…that is a good amount of loss.
LOL, there are MILLIONS of roses out there…but…I do believe imitation is a form of flattery, so he probably picked up the style from the mentor. I know that both of our apprentices imitate different style things they have seen me do. I started with bio…now I have one that does bio drawings…and I do portrait drawings, and have one that drawes faces similar…….I just draw them faster, lol!
LOL, love it! Very creative…I had to call the apprentice in to show it to him too! lol. GREAT…have you seen the autotune video on youtube of the Charlie Sheen video? Its the autotune “winner” song, lol.
Ok, lol, I was out of order on the third and forth tattoo’s…but you get it, lol!
