someone just posted a great aftercare post in the aftercare area, but in short:
wash the tattoo daily, dont let the water beat directly on it though. GENTLE WATER ONLY, dont let the shower beat down on it. WASH IT, as with any break in the skin, it is important to keep it clean to avoid any risk of infection.
Many people say use A&E ointment,…[Read more]

afraid so… post some pics so i can see exactly what is wrong, but any ink that is under the skin stays under the skin, unless removed. wait a few weeks too, to see what happens. but please post some pics!

great guide! i would also like to add that it is a very common reaction when people use lotion to get bumbs like a little rash all over the tattoo. if this happens you need to discontinue use immediately. The rash is caused by chemicals that are in fragrance (even some unscented lotions carry purfumes to make it smell like lotion, what you…[Read more]

it sounds like the tattoo artist blew out your tattoo… meaning he went to deep, and the ink is not staying where it should be. does the tattoo feel/look raised more than the average tattoo should be? i mean is there like hills in the ink? blury edges is usually the artists fault.

it likely still is, when the tattoo peals it will look like it will be messed up too, but hold judgement until it is all healed

its shouldnt, but be carefull when you are outside to use sunscreen. neither should affect it harmefully, sweet comes from pores, and the ink in the tattoo is actually stuck between layers in your skin. your pores go through your skin, so it shouldnt be a problem.
I would be more worried about being gentle with it in the water, the cold wouldnt…[Read more]

what do you think of this… it is still ruff, i am gonna work more on it tommorow.
you would have to take it to the artist and have him redraw it obviously…
also, you can make images you host from photobucket display as clickable thumbnails. just check the one or ones you want, then click generate html/img code at the bottom. one of the…[Read more]

looks like it should be between 100-160 or so, it doesnt look that complicated… I could prolly get it for 80, but as a first timer you dont want to haggle with the artist too much, and also, dont forget to tip!
and about the pain, if all the people you see with them can take the pain, dont you think you can too? i mean half the world has them,…[Read more]

dont use gauze though, as it is constructed of many small fiber threads, with will absorb the ink and then get stuck in the scab, making it very hard to take it off without some scab comming with it.
If the bandage does get stuck on it, DO NOT RIP IT OFF FAST! moisten it alot, get the bandage really wet, maybe even having to let it sit for a min…[Read more]

before you put your shirt on, put a breathable barrior on it…
people will say put clear plastic wrap on it, but that is only for the Mcgyvers who are cheap. Plastic wrap cant breathe, and thus is not good…. Use any form of breathable bandage… If it is really large and you have to use plastic wrap you can apply it after you moisturize,…[Read more]
