taking immune stimmulants will help speed the recovery as well.
eating foods high in vitamin C, in combination with Zinc, and Potassium will help to get the immune system pumping and working faster. Taking vitamins helps a little, though only if you take them with food. Your body can only absorb vitamins through food, that is why pill vitamins…[Read more]

i like it, and i especially like that the bottom does not make a cut across your wrist (a line all the way around) it is tradition that making a tattoo cut off part of your body creates a barrior for your energy…
dont really believe the whole energy thing, but i do think that cuttin your wrist from your arm with a tattoo doen’t look good.

I can say with almost certainty she is having an alergic reaction to the lotion. STOP USING IT RIGHT AWAY. the pink splotches are a dead giveaway, likely there is either purfume or another substance in the lotion (even unscented lotions can have purfume in them to make them smell like lotion). You need to switch to an antibacterial now, to…[Read more]

do nothing… keep it moist, and keep it clean and out of the sun. Let your body do it naturally, or else you severly risk making the tattoo look like crap. The scabs fall off when the layer of skin beneath them pushes them off, and the same with the flakes… I know it sucks, but you just have to be patient… you will have all the years…[Read more]

replied to the topic Good Idea to Work out after new tattoo? in the forum Tattoo Aftercare 16 years, 2 months ago
As long as you dont excersize right after you get the tattoo (more for health reasons than anyting) I dont really think it would be a problem to resume your workouts within a few days. If the tattoo is in a high motion area, you may want to take it easy on the motions that move it.
Listen to your body, if it hurts alot, dont do it. You want to…[Read more]

as with everything you should research it yourself if you have any doubts… you can search for “chemicals in lotions” or anything like that and get a million results… They all say pretty much the same things…

yea its different for everyone… I have been told I have a high tollerance for pain, but also there are a few tricks:
before you get a tattoo, eat some candy. the high calories from the sugar will help to speed the bodies reaction time…
breathe! talk to the artist, it keeps you breathing, regular breathing helps your body to relax…[Read more]

I think the tattoo is well done, but I agree that it needs more in the back. It is top-heavy, so it kind of throws your eye off ballance… I think that if you add more to the bottom of it it will def make it look better. But be sure not to make something that cuts your leg in two if you are going for a sleve.

about the sunscreens, I posted a list of chemicals in a thread above this one, but many sunscreens have many harmfull chemicals that will goad the immune system into acting (even upon itself) if they get past the skin. It is important to read the labels and the chemicals, just cause they sell it in the stores doesnt mean the chemicals in it are…[Read more]

just be sure that whatever moisturizer you use it does not contain any of the following ingredients:
anything from the Benzophenone family – Can can trigger an immune system response that includes itching, burning, scaling, hives, and blistering of skin.
Butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) – These chemicals have been nicknamed the gender benders…[Read more]

did you seriously just tell someone not to wash their new tattoo for 2 weeks?
wash the tattoo daily, dont let the water beat directly on it though. GENTLE WATER ONLY, dont let the shower beat down on it. WASH IT, as with any break in the skin, it is important to keep it clean to avoid any risk of infection.
Many people say use A&E ointment,…[Read more]
