Um, the aftercare of a tattoo?
Dont soak it for a few weeks (so if you have a bath, keep the tattooed area away from the water)
Stay away from caustic substances
Use Savlon to keep it infection free and moisturised. After the first day, apply whenever you feel you need it)
And wash with sensitive soap.
I dunno if thats what you need to do for branding, though.
Hmmm.
first of all, thats not what we where talking about, second, there are a ton of aftercare threads, that are more developed, and alot more in depth… you left out alot, where way to vague, and in some areas just wrong…

DO NOT APPLY SALT TO THE WOUND
like you say, its a saying for a reason
but technically, salt does help to control infection, but there are better alternatives like honey or sugar…that is if you are stuck in the middle of nowhere and have no pharmacy…
but there is no reason to use salt if you have honey or sugar available, they are both better, and less painfull. (although the honey does usually sting a bit, as it breaks down it forms hydrogen peroxide which keeps the wound clean…)
dude dont do it yourself period, its retarded, you will regret it later in life…
there are people you can pay to do it that do it professionally… you wouldnt tattoo yourself would you??
it is possibly the dumbest idea to brand yourself…
branding is just as complicated as tattooing (in its own way)… temp settings must be just right, amount of time on skin, pressure, ect… all need to be just right…
what you are suggesting would be like someone saying they where going to tattoo themselves with a sewing needle and india ink… (which i know people do and people who are on here have done, but that doesnt make it any better)
most since you are darker skined a bit (compared to hers in the picture) the artist would have to use ink obviously (and not leave it negative)…
It is possible, but the light colored ink will fade rather fast (compared to darker inks and more stable colors like green or black)… I have seen people with white tattoos that they have re-touched every year just about to keep them looking super bright…
its understandable too though… many artist who put alot of time and effort into perfecting their art are really pissed at the crappy artists, who do crappy work… same as a hairstylist would bad mouth another hairstylist that sucked… its just profesional rivalry…
to me, i dont care what people say, talk is cheap.
my wife also had really bad eczema for a long time, until about a year ago we discovered that she is allergic to the sulphates in body wash’s/shampoo (like laurelith sulphate, and all the others similar)..
since she has been using more organic cleaners, she has not had a problem with eczema…
not to do with tattoo aftercare, just a tip…
blunt needles can very much cause blury tattoos
i think he had a small……tattoo….. he was compensating for…
no tattoo is ever screwed up beyond repair, or at least re-cover… 😉
even for names (as i have one too) i wouldn’t get re-done or covered, (personal pref) as just because i am not in contact with them anymore, or even had a fight or whatever, doesnt mean that they where any less special to me when i got that tattoo, and that tattoo still represents those actions i made…
you can cover up the tattoo, but not the reason for getting the tattoo.
blow outs will usually stay they way they where after they have fully healed for the most part. Alot of times blow outs can be cause by the artist doin the outline at too much of an angle… wait till it heals all the way, there is nothing to be done now anyway… then see what it looks like after it is healed
why does this guy feel the need to create multiple acounts just to spam insults… I think that he has a really small…*ehem* tattoo
you are a dick…. all i can say is I wish you lived in NYC… its real easy to talk crap when you are the big man behind the monitor holding your joke in your little hands… its another to have the brass to talk to someone in real life…and by the way… i cant see ips but you are not fooling me
